Background
WHITRAP together with the School of Architectural of Southeast University are pleased to announce that the Advanced course on Conservation and Restoration Techniques of Traditional Architecture in the Asia-Pacific Region 2016 will be held from July 6th to July 15th 2016.
WHITRAP has been organizing a series of training courses since 2008, with the cooperation of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), the Asia-Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO (ACCU Nara), the International Understanding Education Center, the Raymond Lemaire International Center for Conservation of University of Leuven, the Shanghai Tongji University and other international organizations and research institutions.
The course aims at establishing an academic platform where experts can share their professional knowledge in conservation and restoration of historic buildings, providing an overview of the various aspects of conservation and restoration of historic buildings in the Asian-Pacific Region.
